Base B4
Product description
The B4 base is intended for connecting the detector SPD-3.10 to the fire alarm system and four-wire AL.
Base B4 generates an output signal using relay contacts and controls the remote indicator. When building a fire alarm loop on B4 bases, it is necessary to install a B6 or B8 base (B8 base with remote indicatorS) at the end of each SS. In such a AL, the lack of supply voltage due to a break or removal of any electronic unit from the base leads to the formation of a “Fault” notification from this AL on the FACP.
Implementation of various functions using databases:
| Base | Number of contacts | Presence of ZPOS | The presence of a relay | Relay contacts | Connection |
| B01 | 4 | - | - | - | 2-wire |
| B1 | 6 | + | - | - | 2-wire |
| B2 | 7 | - | 1 | NO | 4-wire |
| B3 | 7 | - | 1 | NO | 4-wire |
| B4 | 8 | + | 1 | NO | 4-wire |
| B5 | 8 | + | 1 | NO | 4-wire |
| B6* | 8 | - | 2 | NC,NO | 4-wire |
| B7* | 8 | - | 2 | NC,NO | 4-wire |
| B8* | 9 | + | 2 | NC,NO | 4-wire |
| B9* | 9 | + | 2 | NC,NO | 4-wire |
