Mode control unit (MCU)
Product description 
MCU – mode control unit. It is a block from the composition FACP of the “Vector-1” series, designed to control two fire extinguishing zones. It is a set of buttons and switches that provide control of one or two zones (directions) of fire extinguishing (Zone A and Zone B), respectively. Each zone has a power indicator and a mechanical access switch with its status indicator. When this lock is turned on, the “Start”, “Reset delay”, “Emergency stop”, “Emergency start”, “Automatic disabled”, “Lock” switches become active. Is it included in the connector on the board BVV.
- Control using buttons:
- Each zone has a "Power" indicator and a mechanical lock-switch "Access" with its status indicator. When this lock is turned on, the "Start", "Reset delay", "Emergency stop", "Emergency start", "Automatic off" switches become active.
- The "Start" switch includes the "Activation of fire extinguishing" mode.
- The "Automatic disabled" switch sets or removes the ability to start the fire extinguishing system (ASPT) only from automatic detectors. In the "Automatic off" mode, activation of fire extinguishing is possible only by pressing the "Start" switch.
- The "Lock" button suspends the activation of the fire extinguishing mode.
- The "Reset delay" button resets the extinguishing agent release delay timer.
- The "Emergency stop" switch interrupts the "Activation of fire extinguishing" mode until the release of the fire extinguisher.
- The "Emergency start" button (direct start of fire extinguishing) includes the "HGR release" mode from the "Activation" mode in any blocking situations. During the standard extinguishing process (without "Locking", "Emergency stop", "Malfunction" in their AL), the functioning of this button is blocked.
